He got his start in 2014 but rose to popularity in 2016 with “Caroline” and the rest of the Good For You album.
The son of Ethiopian immigrants, he was born and raised in the Northeast Portland neighborhood of Woodlawn and stayed in the area until he dropped out of college to pursue music full-time. His unique beats, melodies, and sharp lyrics create a sound that is hard not to vibe with. A maximum of one ticket will be issued per I.D., and a valid SU or ESF I.D. You must use your Syracuse email address to log in and purchase your ticket. Tickets for Juice Jam are $25 for SU/ESF students with a valid college I.D.
